She chose Mont Clair which is a color produced by the Danby Marble quary in Vermont. The stone is mostly white with grey and black veining throughout. It has the classic marble look that you think of when you hear about marble countertops. Lindays chose white cabinets for the perimeter of her kitchen and a light blue-grey island to give it a pop of color. Her gold handles, faucet and light fixtures add the finishing touch to this trendy kitchen.
Lindsay went with an eased edge profile and a gorgeous marble tile backsplash. To top off the whole project, we created a table top for her kitchen table that matches her countertops. This completes the whole room and ties her kitchen in with her dining room perfectly.
Mont Clair is a marble produced by Danby Marble in Vermont. Danby Marble is the only marble produced here in the United States. Most marbles are soft and are not recommended for use in a kitchen, Danby Marble is the only kitchen-grade marble since it is harder than most and will see less etching or scratching on it.
