This Quartzite Kitchen can be found in a story-and-a-half home located in Arnold, MO. There was granite in the kitchen when Deborah and her husband purchased the home but they were ready to make it their own. They stained their existing cabinets a cherry wood color and chose Nakarado Quartzite for their stone.
Nakarado Quartzite which is full of movement. The major colors in this stone are grey, beige, and cream with notes of rust throughout. The cherry wood cabinets pull out the rust notes throughout the stone making her countertops pop.
Deborah went with an ogee edge profile and full height backsplash. Her kitchen is considered a medium-sized kitchen which is between 50-70 square feet.
Nakarado is considered an exotic stone and is labeled a Category D stone. The Marble Institute of America (MIA) has been the authoritative source of information of natural stone for over 70 years.
