Pergaminho Granite Kitchen
This granite kitchen can be found in a ranch-style home located on a small lake in Belleville, IL. Kelly and her husband did a complete kitchen remodel to open up their space and it turned out beautiful.
Project Details
She chose Pergaminho granite which is full of movement. It is a light stone with a lot of grey in it making it a very popular color choice. The major colors in this stone are grey, beige, cream and white. They went with an off-white, country-chic cabinet which pairs beautifully with the stone.
Kelly went with a half bevel edge profile and a no backsplash to complete her perfect, country-cottage kitchen. Overall, her kitchen would be considered a medium-sized kitchen at 65 square feet.
Pergaminho is labeled a category C stone. The Marble Institute of America (MIA) has been the authoritative source of information of natural stone for over 70 years. The MIA assign categories to all Granites, Marbles and other natural stones. Categories are based a variety of factors including color variation, movement, and composition of the stone.
